So I'm a bit late to the party in reading Rob Cooper's guest blog re: Vegas on Joe Mallozzi's blog... he has lots of great stuff to say about the episode, however, I think I very possibly love him for ( this little exchange alone )

GateWorld appears to have gone down... on the day the last ever freaking episode of SGA is due to air?!!! Arrrghhh!!!

Well... Atlantis is cancelled. And the sad thing is, I'm not that surprised. Despite the recent good ratings, JM has kept saying on his blog that the decision won't be made on just ratings and, to my mind, was hinting that he felt (or knew?) that renewal wasn't going to happen. Okay, so in theory - and pretty much 99.9% in practice - I am spoiler-free for Season 5 of SGA. I'm not clicking on spoiler tags on GW, I'm not only not seeking out but am actively avoiding spoilers, I've abandoned the sga_spoilers comm to a_pilgrim_soul's capable management (sorry, Josie!), I'm steering clear of all speculation on what may happen.
