I am getting soooooooo excited about this ep! Seriously, if I get any more squeeeful I may explode! :lol:
From the spoilers and clips etc that have been released recently, I am loving what I see of this ep more and more. I love Larrin being a feisty, kick-ass woman who can hold her own with Sheppard - and has no compunctions about socking him one!
(Come on, how many of you Shep whumpers out there wouldn't love to be able to smack Sheppard around a bit? And then kiss it all better..... ;))
I was hesitant at first about the idea of Larrin being some kind of love interest for Sheppard but I realised quite quickly that the reason for that reluctance was not at all that I wasn't keen on seeing that but rather that I was already anticipating the flood of anti-Kirk nastiness that such a plotline would be sure to provoke and I was letting that put me off. I'm actually rather loving the idea of seeing a bit of flirtation for Sheppard and some actual smooching.. after all, when was the last time he even got a smooch? Season 2's Epiphany?... and of seeing him paired with a strong, confident woman who is just as maverick and dangerous as he is.
I'm loving these photos!
And I particularly love this one - I can't wait to see how this scene comes about!
So much to love about this episode. I like the concept of the Travelers as a race and I'm intruiged to find out more about the origins of Ronon's gun in this episode.
I'm sooooo excited about the Sheppard whump and the clip that has come to light this morning has ramped that excitement up to fever pitch!
We've seen pictures and clips before of Sheppard with his hands tied being pushed ahead of guards down a corridor in the Travelers ship;
We've seen the hefty guard start the interrogation with a punch to the stomach and we've seen him being punched in the face as Larrin walks in the door...
And now, finally, we get to see Sheppard from the front during this scene, immediately post face-punching with blood running from cuts on his brow and lower lip!
Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! :D
I love the moment also in the latest clip where Sheppard tells Larrin over the radio, "Sorry, I've never been able to trust someone who kidnaps me and tortures me!" *squeeeeeee* Is it wrong that I love hearing him say that..? Hearing him refer to someone torturing him..? *sheepish grin*
I do kinda feel like we have seen a lot of clips from this ep and that maybe I should be a bit less spoiled but hey, we'd seen a lot of clips of Doppelganger too and that still turned out to surprise me and to be great. And there's so much we haven't seen that I am dying to know.. like how the Travelers actually capture Sheppard! How do they disable the jumper?! How do they get him OUT of the jumper?!
Arrrrrgghhh! So basically I am driving myself crazy with squee and can't damn well wait until Saturday morning when I can see this episode! Till then, I'll just have to content myself with staring lovingly at this picture: :D
