The Wolverine = Awesome! :D
Oh my. I loved this movie. I wanna see it again. Like, right now! How long till the DVD is out? :lol:
This was the kind of Wolverine movie that I wanted Origins to be. Seeing our hero going solo, fighting his demons, kicking some arse, being the dangerous mo-fo he is, beserker rage included. I love how they've reinterpreted the source material. It works. Yukio kicked ass, Mariko was pretty cool too. And Logan was just... wonderful.
And the whump. Oh my, the whump. This movie was a whumper's freaking dream come true. Wolverine spends half the damn movie injured. And properly injured... not healing. Bleeding, struggling, limping, passing out. Oh and then there's the angsty whump - nightmares every single night. Feeling he's got nothing left to live for... but he can't die.
Gah. I love this movie.
