Of black friday & lost keys
Ok, blackfriday. No big deal, nothing new, I've been in retail since the day after my 16th birhtday, so this makes Black Friday #7? Had two at Job Lot, and then have put in 4 years at walmart, so this makes #5? at walmart? Yeah.. This is my 5th one at Walmart, so, I know waht's going on, bascially. I can get up an be in Seekonk for 4.45am, when I need to be. Set my alarm to get me up before 4am, since the night before Shaun said he'd like to talk to me in the morning before work, so I got up early to talk to him, and was getting ready to leave around 4.15, 4.20am.. anddddd i cant find my keys. Normally I keep them in my fleece jacket, but I took them out at some point when cleaning my room and ripping it apart since tuesday night when I last had them.
Ended up having to wake up my parents to find the spare car key to my car, since the spare key to my car, of coursse isnt with the other keys.. And spent some of the afternoon after work looking for them, and couldnt find them. Dad went on the computer for 'a minute' (that turned int about 2 hrs) to do an update, and so I went baack to my room, thought of something, moved my blanket at the foot of my bed, and found the keys. Yaaaaaa.
As for Black Friday itself, I was horrifcally dreading being a cashier today. I dont mind ringing, it makes the day go by fast when there is customers, wbut when you're n self checkout and there isnt.. its just horrible, plus I had the CMS telling me when I could go on my break, and theyw erent helping me at all... like one cashier said "Oh, ali has the same thing so she's going to need help/be told that too" the person said ok, annnnd never told me.
Such bad attitudes up there. The least the could have done was help me whenI asked for it, or, werent bitchy at me because I didnt know you had to enter a different mode to enter an item that has as serial number as well, or, that some thigns witht he serial number cant be rung up at the self checkout. I mean, I'm supposed to know all this, of course.
Lunch was good, Ron paid for breakfast at dunkin doughnuts for the associates.. was supposedly just coffee and a doughnut, and some people were abusing that 'free from store ron' and getting like. frappucinos, and all sorts of stuff.... I got my blueberry bagel and creamcheese, as usual. :P Lunch itself was good, we has catered food from quiznos, and cookies, chips, cheese puffs, soda, and cheescake samplers.. So that was good. Quiznos' was mostly 4-6 inch subs, not toasted, just a buncha things... was good, I had only one, and it was a turkey sammich with cheese and lettuce and tomato and mayo on an italian sub rull thing. They didnt toast them, buuut ah well. and i had 2 sugar cookies, and later a piece of chesecake after idid some shopping... the cheesecake was like peanutbutter caramel on top with chocoalte chips with a dark chocolate cookie crust, you know?... it was good.
Got a new bra today, nothing fancy, just one of those nce mircofiber ones that are all elastic-y rather than a clasp and stuff. Fits ok. Also for some 1 gig sd cards for my camera, when I go to New Zealand, mainly.. can hold 600+ pictures on one, not sure how much video time that would be... but yeah... es good. $13.87, plus discount... when 1 gig's are usually like.. $35+? *does a happy dance*
Busy day, and I just forgot I was updating this, sooo yea... Chatting with Shaun about zoo tycon, and talking about the kitties and how Id build a nice big enclosure, and have tones of kitties, toyes, and then drop in like.. a zebra or gazelle. and watch the kitties runa nd chase it and catch it, and have the animal turn into a reddy brown cloud...
