Twelfth Night
Whoa. I am not recovered yet.
For those of you who weren't there (not very many of you, I think), I was inducted into the Order of the Laurel yesterday.
Apparently, the entire universe knew this was supposed to happen except me. My refrain for the day: "Thank goodness I got the dress done in time for Twelfth Night."
I am honored and touched, and would like to thank everyone who was involved--my household, the many worthy folks who spoke for me, those who have supported me all these years.
I still don't have anything more elaborate to say. I'm still kind of in "holy shit" mode.
