I watched Power Rangers when I was little, and only ever saw the original series. Tommy was my favorite. He was a badass, karate-fighting, shoots-lasers-out-of-his-eyes kinda of a guy.
And today, on a random forum, I followed a link to a Power Rangers website for kicks.
And discovered that he was still back the show in like 2004.
I laughed. A lot. All I can think is....WOW. Longest running ranger character ever!
