well, i have a job interview wednesday! i'd be making $17.50 an hour as an admissions assistant for an online university. it's a full time position with a 30-40 minute commute (one way), but that's an awesome hourly rate and i'd have the chance for overtime. i'm really excited about it. the university is american intercontinental university. i'd start as a 90 day contract and then be hired for real if they like me and i like them. :-) the hire date would be june 8th, so i'd still have some days of freedom. while i've been nervous about the job market, i'm also glad i've had some down time to adjust to not being in school and get used to the idea that whatever job i get is going to be my job until i go to grad school.
i had a photo shoot on friday and it was really fun! i took the train downtown and we shot in the subway station, around the downtown streets, in the drake hotel, on the beach, and on the porches of some old brownstones. i can't wait to get the photos but the photog said it could take up to 3 weeks because he has to process the photos on the computer. i wouldn't mind doing some more modeling, especially as i'll have a regular, set schedule with the university for six months. so my days off will be pre-determined for six months, not something that changes every two weeks, which will be nice. right now i'm talking with a guy about doing some vintage photos! some of the girls i met at chris's bday have some cool vinage clothes. maybe i will facebook them if the thrift stores around here prove too expensive or don't have anything.
my brother heads to vegas friday for a month, and then my sister flies out july 7! she will be here until august 1. i'm hoping i'll be able to convince my dad to drive them up to chicago for a weekend or something, and then i can drive them back on one of my days off. i also want to go home/hang out in indy for my bday with lots of dpu alum who are in the area.
