From the desk of the college graduate....
I signed my contract for Greenwood today. I'll be teaching 9th grade English starting in August. I'm very excited about that.
I start my camp counselor job at the zoo next week. I'm desperate for a paycheck. I haven't worked since December because of student teaching and we're racking up debt to make ends meet.
Tony is going back to school. He's taking two summer classes and then 18 credit hours this fall. IDK how he's going to work 55 hours a week and take 18 credit hours, but he's determined that he can do it. We'll see. Three years from now we should both be college graduates! (Then it'll be time for me to go back and get my Master's... ahhhh!!!)
I think that in 5 years life will be much better. We will both be done with undergrad, working real jobs (hopefully), financially secure, new cars, and maybe even have a baby. I guess you gotta work your ass off till you're in your late 20's or early 30's if you want the rest of your life to be easier. At least I hope.
Well I'm hungry for lunch and I need to do laundry and some housework.
