Had a bunch of friends over last night. We watched 'Finding Nemo' then Eddie Izzard. It was great ... Everything from Cara kicking Chris in the face to getting my dog to hump the teddy bear. We all chomped down on my Mom's soup, popcorn, and brownies. Chris got to talk to my dad about the Marines. How did that turn out for you?
Mar was one of the first to go, along with Adam and Cara because Mar had to pick her sister up somewhere and Cara had an 11:00 curfew. So did Lindsay, so she left soon after. Bethie, Chris and I were all that were left. We finished watching Eddie, then Bethany left. Chris and I went to my room and talked about random stuff. He tried to get my pillow by using the angel wings as an anchor to pull himself up. Didn't work too well ... so I went to get it myself. He pulled me back down. I have a rugburn because of that!
I didn't do much today. I was supposed to go to the mall with Marlee, Cara, and Adam, but I stayed up until 2 last night so I slept in pretty late. Mar ended up calling and said "I'M PICKING YOU UP IN HALF AN HOUR!" I told her to just go on without me ... she didn't seem to like it much, I'm sorry, Mar ... I was just really tired.
OH MY GOD! Last night, I'm sitting at my computer, right? It's about 1 am and I'm chatting with friends from Okinawa. I hear a hustle-bustle going on outside my window, but don't pay too much attention. Then I hear something hit my neighbor's fence (which is four feet from my window) and a definite tapping on my window! I've had this happen before but it ended up being two cats sheltering themselves on my window-sill to get out of the rain. I pull my blinds up to see what it was and I actually SAW A PERSON run from my window to my backyard. I bolt to the back bathroom and throw open the door to the backyard and turn the light on to look for whoever it was. Nothing. All I saw was what I saw from my window ... it was someone about my height, a litte taller maybe, with a dark shirt. Turns out, whoever this was was bothering my neighbor's dogs, so she called the cops. No one knows who it is ... and it really freaked me out. I couldn't stop shaking for half an hour. I mean, who goes tapping on people's windows so early in the morning? The only reason why he tapped on mine was because I had a light on ... or he knows who I am and what room is mine. *shiver*
I've been reading pretty much all day. It's been such a gorgeous day, so I brought my books outside. I had to read Act II of 'Macbeth' so I read that and also continued on 'Fellowship of the Ring'. Oh my God, take a deep breath! Yes, I'm reading a fantasy book. First ever in the history of my bookworm-ness. You should be proud. The three books I got at Barnes and Noble were 'Fellowship ... ', 'Tricky Business' by Dave Barry (saving that for Christmas vacation) and 'Sons and Lovers' by D.H. Lawrence. The book sounds like it's got a good plot ... and it's kinda racy, I hear ... my kinda book! So when I'm done with 'Fellowship', I'm gonna start on that one. They're both decently long.
So, I'm thinking I'm gonna grab a couple pieces of candy and go read some more. Toodles!
