Writer's Block: Trading Places

I am a die-hard and life-long fan of Leonard Cohen, but If I could be someone else besides being me (inside the eccentric  realm of his other followers) , I wish to play his music...If I could be a saxophone player for a day, it would be like my long dream come true...I can't stop dreaming, and I keep imagine myself playing solo in front of hundreds people, seamlessly revealing my soul and my heart...It might be a tenor saxophone or a soprano...Probably the tenor I would play out of pure  jealousy....Never in my life had a musician captivated my senses like the great Dino Soldo, the saxophone player, had during the Leonard Cohen concert in Oakland, CA in 2009 ... holding his saxophone the way he would a woman...It was an improvisation!....as if this (so long waited!) live performance of LC, and all artistically prepared technique plus the staff had waited for the moment of truth. All members of his team  had slightly moved to some shy darkness on stage,  no doubt intentionally giving space to this musician and his sax. All sounds of the world centered around this improvisation for a 10 minutes. It was a real piece, sending chills up and down my spine...Love song to the Music itself …The public wept, agonizing from..Later Leonard himself proceeded with singing again...My ears and nerves still have his music. What is my favorite song of Leonard? My guess, I'm his poetry pure addict...From "So Long, Marianne" to the "Thousand Kisses Deep", Leonard is OUR MAN and I wish to be his saxophon player for a day at least.
