Nobody gives a shit about this except for me, I'm sure.
On Sunday, while Erika went to a gymnastics birthday party (and subsequently asked me if she could sign up for gymnastics classes now...), I went to Kohl's and picked up three long-sleeve t-shirts for Amelia. She selected them all in her favorite color, "blue", which really means pink. The three items were originally $10 each, but they were on the clearance rack for $15 in total (50% off) and then there was an additional 20% off for President's Day weekend, I also carried a $10 Kohl's Cash plus a 30% off coupon, so my final total for the three items was $1.60.
Then today, I stopped by Stride Rite to pick up new shoes for Amelia, because her feet grow every 3 months, and it's impossible to keep up at times. I picked out a boot and she picked out a pink Mary Jane slip-on, and the shoes were originally $46 each, but they were again on clearance for $19 each (I may have selectively directed her to the clearance section, ahem...), and then because it was President's Day weekend, it was a BOGO 40% off, plus a $10 coupon, so it came to two pairs of Stride Rite shoes for $19.
I also have a $20 cash coupon to Bass, so I better hit up that store soon too!
I also received a really super gorgeous Coach bag for Chinese New Year/my birthday from Brian, and scored that at $80 (MSRP $220). Will have to post a picture of my classy new bag too!
I'm also really excited to have recently discovered Old Navy Tall Women collection. I had no idea it existed, and the clothes are actually decently made for a good price and they actually fit my body! The collection is only available online, but if you purchase $50 worth of merchandise, it's free shipping and free returns, so why not? Especially when they are always having 40% off plus $10 super cash going on, you can easily score six or seven outfits for $50. The best part is that the sleeves are long enough to reach my wrists, and the tops reach my hips instead of showing off my belly button, so I'd readily pay more for their product, just for the simple fact that stuff fits!
