TV
In a continuation of Brian vs. Clare's spending behavior, the TV was on the fritz all day. We had a severe electrical thunder storm come through last night, and Brian's alarm clock died, and this morning I noticed the TV was starting to fade.
When Brian came home, tinkered with the cables and wires for a bit, and realized the TV was dead, I said: "maybe we can get a TV as a Christmas present from mom?" (A 60-inch large flat-screen TV is a big purchase item!!! Something you save up for!)
Brian looked at me like I had two heads, and replied, "CHRISTMAS?!! I'm going to Best Buy to buy one right now. I think it'll be about $300 and I'll use my personal account."
OK then!
Update: Brian has returned with a brand new 43-inch plasma TV!
