2 days left...
I have all my final accessory pieces drafted now, and cut out. Now I just have to fine tune them to the actual bodice and it will be done. The skirt should take no time, nor should the leggings although they still need to be dyed (as does my hair!). I lucked out today and found all the right fabrics, so shoes are my only concern now. I always do this.....run it to the bone at the last minute. I swear one day I will learn! I was going to try to throw something together for Aria, but there simply is not enough time left.
I am super excited about my upcoming trip to CT. Once I get back from AZ, I have 3 days (one of them being Memorial Day) to figure out what I need to do to drive the new car back legally. I wanted to be able to take the title to the bus up to skunkhugger but I have to jump through a few hoops first and do not have time to pull it off before flying his way. Bummer!
My little black rain cloud has dissipated for the time being, and I hope it stays gone. Things are going well right now and it feels great. I am looking forward to hooking up with old friends on my trip back from CT, so that definitely helps lift my spirits, especially after getting to spend time with skunkhugger, working on the bug! I am going to take my laptop so I can update each day, let everyone know where I am and how the road trip is going. I want to plan out a route that allows me to run bio-diesel the entire way home, but it may not be possible. I am ordering a bio emblem for the new car. Man, I hope she likes me. VWs tend to be real temperamental to begin with...LOL
