My Princess

Hehe. This is for kevjo .

Prompt #11 - "I dare you to go into that haunted mansion."

“Kevin,” Joe whined as he clambered up onto the older boy. “Kevin, I wanna cuddle with you.” Joe snuggled into Kevin’s chest with a warm smile. Kevin laughed as he wrapped his arms around Joe’s skinny waist. “What? It’s cold outside and you’re warm and comfy.”

“Okay Joey, stop being so cute and girly.” Kevin smiled as he earned a strong glare from Joe. “What?” he asked softly as he kissed Joe’s cheek. “I was just telling you the truth.” Joe frowned again but soon enough he was smiling because there was no way he could resist Kevin’s smile and not smile back. “So why’d you want to cuddle in the first place?”

Joe huffed as he squirmed in Kevin’s arms. “What makes you think I have an ulterior motive for wanting to cuddle with you? Maybe I just want to cuddle with you.” Kevin looked at him until Joe sighed and nodded. “Fine,” he said softly. “I did have an ulterior motive for coming to cuddle with you.”

“Oh I knew it,” Kevin mumbled as he pulled Joe back so they were both laying on the bed.

“Hey,” Joe said softly as he snuggled into Kevin’s warm embrace. “The request isn’t for me. It’s for Nick.” Kevin looked at him strangely but nodded. “Okay, well he and his friends are in charge of a haunted house and he wants our help.” Kevin shook his head rapidly. “Come on Kevin. We’ll have fun!”

Kevin sighed as he gently hugged Joe. “Baby, you know that I hate haunted houses and mansions. The whole thing just freaks me out to no end.” Joe put on his begging eyes and Kevin sighed. “Will you please stop doing that to me?” Kevin asked softly as he cuddled Joe. “I hate it when you put those eyes on me.” Joe smiled and Kevin frowned. “Why do  you want me to help so badly?”

“Well…” Joe trailed off slightly. “I might’ve already volunteered you.” Kevin stared at Joe and released a loud groan. “I’m sorry. I just thought I could convince you to do it.”

“Fine Joe fine, just stop talking and let me hold you now would you?” Joe nodded with a triumphant smile before burying his head into Kevin’s chest, listening to his gentle heartbeat. “I love you Joey,” Kevin said as he kissed the top of Joe’s head gently. Joe smiled as he moved to clasp onto Kevin’s hand.

“I love you too Kevvie,” Joe said softly as he kissed Kevin’s exposed flesh on his chest. “I love you so much.” Kevin smiled as he nuzzled Joe’s head with his own. This was something they were both happy with and they weren’t going to change that anytime soon. They must have laid there for hours before Joe finally unattached himself from Kevin. “Come on baby. It’s time to go help Nick.”

Kevin opened his eyes and blinked sleepily. “Now I’m cold and lonely. Thanks Joe.” Slowly, Kevin sat up and rubbed his eyes, trying to get rid of the cobwebs that had formed over the past couple of hours. Joe smiled sympathetically as he helped Kevin off of the bed. “Thank you,” Kevin yawned as he stumbled towards his closet. Joe watched as his sleepy brother struggled to find clothes. “Wait. What am I supposed to wear for this thing?”

“I don’t know,” Joe replied as he headed towards his own closet. “Just put on whatever.” Kevin agreed and grabbed a pile of clothes before leaving Joe to prepare himself an outfit. Joe slipped into a pair of black jeans and a deep red shirt before smiling. Tonight would be all about him and Kevin hanging out in a haunted house and if all went according to Joe’s plan, they’d be having some severe cuddle time tonight.

Joe sat back down onto his bed and waited for his brother to return. First there was the ever so polite knocking that Kevin always insisted on doing. “It’s safe Kevin,” Joe shouted. “Not that you would care if it wasn’t…” he added as he watched the door open. Joe’s mouth dropped open as he stared at his older brother. “What the fuck Kevin! This is supposed to be a haunted house not a gay festival!”

Kevin flushed as he looked down at his outfit. He was wearing a lilac colored shirt, a rainbow scarf and the brightest pair of hot pink skinny jeans that no one even knew he had. “Uhh…sorry. I’ll go change,” he replied embarrassedly as he started over to his closet. Joe stood up and grabbed him before he could reach the closet.

“Don’t worry about it Kevin. We’re going to be late as it is. Let’s go, and might I say you look very sexy in that girly outfit of yours.” Kevin smiled softly as he followed Joe out the door and to the haunted mansion. The place he was frightened of.

“Come one come all to the haunted mansion!” one of the teenagers shouted to the group of passing by teens. The group flipped him off and continued on their way, laughing as they pointed towards the mansion. “Fuck you too assholes!”

“Gabe, stop,” Nick said as he came up to his friend, patting him gently on the shoulder. “They don’t deserve our awesome haunted house.” The boy named Gabe nodded and continued trying to drag people into their mansion. In the background Joe was leaning against the wall in his vampire costume, annoyed that he didn’t even get to do anything fun at this pathetic and completely not scary haunted house. Beside him, Kevin was groaning with his head buried in his hands.

“That’s the fifth group who’s laughed at me because of my outfit,” Kevin groaned as he slid to the moist grass. Joe kneeled down beside him and wrapped a gentle arm around him. “This is ridiculous. I might as well just go home.”

Joe gently took Kevin’s face in his hands and directed it towards himself. “Don’t say that Kevvie. You make the best gay prince ever.” Kevin sighed loudly and pulled away from Joe. “That wasn’t the right thing to say now was it? Sorry.” Kevin nodded as he stood back up. “Where are you going?”

“Home,” Kevin replied as he shoved his hands into his pockets and walked away. “I’m done with being laughed at.”

“No no no no no!” Joe cried as he chased after his brother. “Don’t leave Kevin, please.” Kevin turned around and looked at Joe with somber eyes. “Come on, just take a trip into the haunted mansion with me before you leave, at least. Please?”

“You know I hate them Joe. No.” Joe frowned as he looked at Kevin but this time his pouting didn’t work. “Bye Joe.”

“I dare you to go into that haunted mansion!” Joe shouted before Kevin could get away. “I dare you, and if you do it I promise I’ll give you a special treat.” Kevin turned around and looked at Joe.

“What kind of special treat?” Kevin said as he slowly walked back to Joe’s side. Joe smirked as he grabbed onto Kevin’s hand. Kevin rolled his eyes at his silent brother. “No. I’m not going in there.”

“Fine,” Joe said as he took Kevin’s other hand. “Then I’m going home with you.” Not caring that they were in public, he kissed Kevin just as a group of giggling preteen girls walked by. They all stopped and ‘aww’ed at the two boys before heading towards the haunted house. Slowly, Joe pulled away and looked at Kevin.

“Now that was totally better than that stupid haunted house,” Kevin replied with a smile. Joe laughed as Kevin took his hand and they headed home. “I love you my vampire.”

“Love you too my princess.” Immediately Joe broke away from Kevin’s grasp and started running towards their house, quickly followed by Kevin who was shouting death threats the whole way home.
