Early morning ramblings...

Warning: All potential spelling and grammar mistakes should be laughed at.

Sometimes I listen to things that aren't exactly good for me to listen to, like bad, trashy music that has a good beat, or British people talking their heart out just so that I have access to their gorgeous voices. On that note, there's something about their accents that makes me head over heels in love, so last night's music download spree was completely inspired by the insanity that is fuckyeahukboys. Everyone on there isn't delicious, sadly, but the fact that they all have delicious accents gives me a lot more happiness then it should. I'm not sure why this is important or if anyone even cares about it, but I'll just randomly keep talking about my love for British accents.

I often find myself enamoured with movies, television shows and songs just because they're written by a British artist or have accent-inspiring roles in them. In fact, right now I'm listening to the new McFly single, Shine a Light featuring Taio Cruz, and j can't help but be mindlessly enamoured with it even though it's nothing like the McFly that I started out loving, and I don't think that it's just because it's a catchy song, which it is. There's just something about the song that just attracts me to it, and...I'm not even sure what I'm trying to say at this point. It's 9am and I got absolutely no sleep last night, so fuck this attempt to get all deep and insightful with songs and the UK and whatnot. It's too damn early for that.

In other news, I have officially gone NaNo and knitting crazy. It's not to the point where I'm mindlessly stalking the forums just to get out of plotting or trying to find ways to sedate my characters to get some sleep, but it's starting. I know that part of the reason I didn't sleep last night was because Green wouldn't shut up and woke up Violet (and just after I had gotten him to sleep, too). It's frustratingly crazy that I can't get them to shut up, not all of them at least. Some, like Red, Yellow and Indigo, are well behaved, but the rest, especially Green and Violet, are as terrible as can be. They attack my brain in a brutal manner and are already starting to drive me crazy, but that doesn't make me stop loving them. Those insane little colour-creatures are my babies, and I wouldn't have it any other way, but I do miss sleep, so I wouldn't be complaining if they would just shut up a little more each day so I could get to sleep. Sleep is good for the little author that is under their control. They need to learn that or else we're going to have a really stressful November.

God, I sound crazy, don't I?

Additional preparation for NaNo, which I rambled to barefootdoll  about yesterday, was the purchase of a new 5-cup tea (coffee) maker for my room. It's coming in today, so I'm very excited for that, and with it is coming 18 boxes of tea all courtesy of Lipton and Amazon's epic deals. I assure you that I can not find a box of Lipton tea in the stores for about 2.02$, so thank you, Amazon, and your lovely Amazon Prime for students thing, for providing me with all of my NaNo essentials.

On a last note, I've been knitting like mad, which I'm sure I previously stated, but I think it's important enough that it deserves its own paragraph. I've had to, unfortunately, put pixelatedd 's blanket aside for the weekend since I was only able to carry one project down to the car to take to casa del other. I love my darling Ado and her blanket (which is really soft so far, don't tell her), but I want to get some progress done on my tunic so that I can, hopefully, have it done by the first of November so that I can congratulate my work with the start of a new, insane, potentially 150,000 word project. Insanity levels are up, just as usual. On a side note, though, I'm also trying to finish plot bunnies for pixelatedd , barefootdoll  and havah24601 , so hopefully I'll get those all done too. If anyone ones one for NaNo, just message me about it and I think we'll be able to work something out. If not, well... sorry? xD

I think that's it for now, seeing as this is almost 750 words. Bye people, and have a lovely morning/day/night/evening/afternoon/whatever. Best wishes!
