I'll give you cookies if you yell at me!
This chapter is dedicated to everyone who reads this story which is horrible.
Oh, and it goes to SmileyPun on the jonasfic proboards for an amazing idea!
Have fun!

“Kevin,” Taylor said as they ran into each other at school the next day. “Do you want to come over tonight? Mitchell and I have planned out a movie marathon and we’d love to have you there.” Kevin nodded in agreement as he looked at his best friend. Today she was sporting an extremely different outfit. Her hair was pulled back into a cool ponytail and she was sporting a crisp white shirt, a black vest and a ruffled black and red skirt. “What’s on the schedule for today?” she asked with a sigh.

Kevin shrugged as he pulled his schedule out of his messenger bag. “Uhh…I have Math, English, Art and Music. Awesome. At least the second half of the day will be fun.” Taylor laughed as she pulled out her own schedule.

“Lucky you!” she said jealously as she stared at her schedule. “I have History, English, Math and then Gym. This sucks.” Kevin sighed sympathetically and hugged Taylor. “Not fair. You have a cool schedule and I have…crap and homework.”

“Hey!” Kevin said defensively. “I have homework too! I just have the cool classes today. Bet you’ll have them tomorrow and I’ll get the sucky classes.” Kevin looked down at his schedule. “Oh wait, you won’t have them until next semester. That does suck.” Kevin looked at his schedule. “Wait, do we have English together? Who’s your teacher?”

Taylor groaned because she had just stuffed her schedule back into her backpack. Grumbling, she pulled it out again and unfolded the paper. “Uhh…Mr. Wentz. What about you?” Kevin looked down at his schedule and then smiled brightly.

“I have the same teacher! We have the exact same class together. This is going to be awesome.” Taylor hugged him quickly and then they headed into the school. Kevin walked to his newly assigned locker and threw his schoolbooks that he got yesterday into it before walking Taylor to her locker. Taylor opened her locker and shoved her backpack into it before walking with Kevin to their homeroom.

Kevin looked over to his homeroom and he saw that Joe was standing at his locker. Kevin looked at him longingly for a minute before turning away and keeping himself faced the other way until he was safely in his homeroom. Joe had been smiling as he saw Kevin but when he had looked away form him, Joe’s smile failed and he walked away to his homeroom with his head down.

Kevin hadn’t missed seeing how Joe had fallen into sadness. He didn’t want to hurt him, but he just felt heartbroken that Joe had a boyfriend and he couldn’t help the fact he had fallen in like with him. Kevin sighed loudly as he buried his head in his arms on the desk in front of him. This was going to be a long day.

***

This was torture. Kevin had already seen Joe at least ten times and each time he successful ignored him, but each time had been harder than the time before it. He had also seen David and faked a smile and waved when that boy had. Lunch had been peaceful since neither of his ‘objects of ignorance’ shared a lunch with him, or if they did he didn’t know of it.

Now Kevin was off to his final class of the day, Music. “Ms. Sully, Room 164,” he said out loud as he headed towards his class. When he got there, there was no female teacher. Instead there was a man in his early thirties who looked extremely familiar to Kevin. “Am I in the wrong class?” he asked the man.

“If you’re here for Ms. Sully then no. She was replaced right before the school year started, so I’ll be your new teacher.” The man held his hand out to Kevin. “Nice to meet you. I’m Mr. Bell, but you can call me Drake.”

“Kevin stared at the man blankly before it all clicked in his head. “Oh. My. God. You’re Drake Bell!” I love your music. Oh my god I can’t believe I’m meeting music royalty!” Drake laughed softly as Kevin reached out and shook his head. “I’m Kevin Jonas. It’s nice to meet you.”
This time Drake’s eyes lit up “Oh, so you’re Kevin. I’ve heard quite a lot about you. Well then Kevin, I look forward to teaching you this year and I hope I’ll provide a good learning experience for you.” Kevin smiled widely and shook Drake’s hand again before going and picking out a seat.

Kevin smiled as he pulled out his notebook but when he looked up his smile faded. Joe walked into the classroom and high fived Drake before sitting down next to Kevin. Kevin groaned inwardly, knowing this meant he would have to talk to Joe. “Hey,” Joe said as he plastered on a false smile. “How are you?”

“Fine,” Kevin said shortly as he opened his notebook and started doodling. Joe sighed deeply as he pulled out a notebook and started writing.

Seconds later, Joe looked up from his notebook and looked towards Kevin. “Why don’t you smile?” he asked him.

Kevin looked at Joe with a frown. “You want to know why?” Joe nodded. “Well seeing you doesn’t really make me want to smile.” Joe frowned severely, resisting the urge to cry and was about to reply but he was interrupted by the bell ringing and Drake beginning the lesson.

“Okay class, today were’ going to start off with some basics, but first I want you all to introduce yourselves so I can get to know you by your names. I already know Joe and Kevin, so we’ll start with you,” he said, pointing out some random kid.

Joe leaned towards Kevin and whispered into his ear. “What did I do to get you so pissed off at me?” Kevin looked at Drake before whispering back.

“Nothing!”

Joe winced slightly as he noted Kevin’s harsh tone. “There’s no way it’s ‘nothing’ so what is it?” Kevin stayed quiet and looked down. Joe blinked and looked at Kevin seriously. “It’s because I’m gay, isn’t it?”

Kevin instantly flushed and looked down. “No, that’s not why.” Kevin knew that wasn’t why but Joe had officially decided that was why. Kevin groaned as Joe wrote something down in his notebook. “Joe, I’m telling you that’s not why I’m-“

“Joe, Kevin!” They looked up at Drake who was staring them down. “Would you two please just stop talking so I can try to set this class up? I can be really cool guys, but when you’re being rude then I get mad.” Kevin and Joe immediately looked away from their teacher.

“Sorry Mr. Bell,” Kevin said softly as he flipped his notebook shut.

“Yeah, sorry da-Mr. Bell.” Kevin looked at Joe confusedly as he flushed and buried his head into his notebook. Drake sighed and continued on, breaking the students up into groups and setting them on their first task; getting to know each other.

Kevin groaned again to find that Joe was put in his group in addition to the Goth girl, the tattooed guy and the girl in the designer duds. He was surprised to find that all of the teens he was staring at the day before were in his group. The guy reached his hand out and grabbed Kevin’s.

“Hey there, I’m Trace. It’s nice to meet you.” Kevin shook his hand and looked over at the Goth girl. “Oh, that’s Selena and this here is Demi,” he said, pointing to the girl in the style clothes.

“Heyo,” Selena said as she reached forward and shook Kevin’s hand as well. She had red and black streaked hair and it was cut short and hanging over her eyes. She had on all black and despite the fact that she was kinda creepy, she looked pretty cool. The girl named Demi merely nodded and looked down at her hands, clasping them as she kept to herself. “Joey!” Selena giggled as she hugged Joe. Joe cringed.

“Sel Bell, stop that,” he said, laughing as he hugged her back quickly. “You know I hate when you get all girly on me at school. It’s bad enough you do it at home.” Kevin stared at Joe as he realized that he in fact had had a little sister.

“Oh, dad wants to know where you want to go for dinner,” Selena added as she smiled. “I think Pizza Hut is totally in order for tonight and then we get to go to his gig thing.”

Joe thought about it for a second before nodding. “Sure thing. Why don’t you go tell him and then we’ll finish up this project thing?” Selena nodded and jumped up before running over to Drake.

“Wait a minute,” Kevin said as he stared from Joe to where Selena and Drake stood. “You…Drake Bell’s your father?” Joe nodded slowly as he looked Kevin. “Oh my god. Oh wow…that’s so cool.” Joe shrugged.

“I guess it’s cool. I mean…it’s not like its life changing or anything.” Kevin’s eyes widened as he stared at Joe. “Wait, does this mean you don’t hate me anymore?”

Kevin rolled his eyes at Joe. “I never hated you in the first place so yeah, that’s exactly what it means.” Joe sighed in relief and Kevin grinned. “Now is it project time?” he asked as Selena took a seat next to Trace and smiled.

“Of course,” Joe replied and they started their project. Kevin quickly got up to run to the restroom though because he was starting to feel a headache coming on and he knew just how to solve it. He pulled the little bottle of Advil out of his pocket and pulled two pills out of it before shoving them into his mouth and swallowing them. He then got a sip of water from the water fountain and headed into the boys bathroom where he found an unexpected guest.

Mitchell was leaning against the bathroom wall and writing on it with a sharpie. Kevin walked up to him and was about to say hi but then he saw what he was writing his expression turned to anger. “Joe Bell is a faggot? What the hell Mitchell?” Kevin growled as he stared at the hurtful black words on the white wall. “Why are you being such an asshole!?”

“Dunno,” Mitchell replied as he capped the sharpie and headed towards the door. “Not even sure why I’m still going on about him because our little ‘problem’ has just been solved.” He stopped and looked at Kevin. “Wow, I can’t believe the reason I got mad at him in the first place was because he was dating Mandy. Haha.” With that, he tapped Kevin on the shoulder and slid out of the bathroom before Kevin could attempt to hurt him.

“That asshole,” Kevin said as he washed his hands and threw water into his hair before walking out of the bathroom.

He had to tell Joe what was going on before everything was ruined.
