I re-read 'Girlfriend In a Coma' by Douglas Coupland this past weekend and was honestly even more impressed this time than the first time I read it about two years ago. It's the sort of book that makes you realize that you can't just sit around and be miserable all the time, that I can't expect anyone to sort out my life for me or just wait to get what I want without actually taking any sort of action, that I can never stop thinking or questioning, that I can't live in the past. It's always quite nice when reading a book can make you take a look at things, and truly want to make them better. It's one thing to feel emotion as a result of reading, that happens to me quite often, but to really feel change, that's a whole other matter.
