I got the go ahead from the doctor, and I am *walking.* No bail necessary. He was very impressed with the progress I've made, and was surprised it had only been 7 weeks, considering the strength of the leg and the range of motion, etc. Its pretty slow going, but I should pick up speed fairly quickly once my leg and foot remember exactly what ( Read more... )

Okay, the moving is all done, I'm now ensconced at C-and, not too far from Gville. I'll be here until school starts around the end of August, when I'll be in Tampa. C-land is a wonderful small Florida town, and has an awesome coffee shop with free internet. Its been a busy few weeks, with all the stuff going on, but it has now settled down ( Read more... )

I am off almost all pain medication (a single Aleve twice a day is nothing--its less than I was taking before the surgery!), I'm walking just fine, I started PT last week, and I've pretty much made peace with the knee brace ( Read more... )
