welcome to the suck

He pushed open the window, hoping to tempt in a breeze that wasn't there.

After finishing reading another book I'm in one of those weird self narrating moods. I definitely think reading more is a way to inspire me to write more simply because I actually end up thinking like the first sentence after I've read.

The book I finished was Jarhead. I've read it before but not since I actually brought it, for I borrowed it from a library the first time I read it. The first half of the book reads as an autobiography of someone you don't particularly know or care about with events that don't seem too important. But it's the second half of the book I like. It's the view on war and death and anything else on a marine's mind and some of it is definitely there to provoke your noggin beyond my usual realms of thoughts as I read (usually along the lines of 'WOULDN'T IT BE SO COOL TO GO TO HOGWARTS?')

Which book shall I read next? Better consult the pile...

PS: My batteries on my keyboard stopped working. Do you know how annoying the on screen keyboard is to use?

books, reading, computers
