NaNo Ridiculousness Day 2

Day 2 of "I Prefer the Mind Control" in all its ridiculous and smutty NaNoWrimMo speed-writing glory! As usual, the NSFW warning applies.

Day 1

Too much fucking awkwardness around this throne competition, I decided. To remedy that, I changed the subject to something much fluffier, yet still completely relevant.“So, guys, how exactly am ( Read more... )

lol I love that Dylan is 100% a Mary Sue but at the same time he's actually fun to read. Everyone wants him and wants to touch him and the fact that they're basically treating him like an object -- it should squick me out. But it doesn't because Dylan handles it in such a way that makes it feel sexy.

This is such a guilty pleasure thing for me omg. It really is. xD

Yay! :D I will take that as a compliment because it means (for this novel and you, at least) I am one of those rare writers skilled enough to pull off a Sue-character that the Mary Sue Litmus Test mentions, lol.

That's what I was going for! This story (unless the Plot Gods decide to make it veer in a totally unexpected direction) is going to have a fair amount of "should be squicky but is actually sexy" should I pull it off. I like me some weird stuff and thorny issues lol.

lol I'm one of those rare skilled authors, too, because uh... Savin, anyone? Yeaaaaah. lol.

I figured! I like some weird things, too, and this is kind of hitting my personal like buttons. So it might be just me, lol.

Lol yeah Savin, though your Sue is less blatantly Sue-ish than my Sue. On paper he's a Super Sue, but he, like, fucks up enough and acts like enough of an ass that he just doesn't give off very big Sue-vibes. Dylan is more obvious and straight-up Sue-like. So we've both got Sues that don't make you want to kill the author (hopefully!), haha, just with very different ways of handling them

This is definitely a Not for Everyone kind of story, haha. ^_^

Hahahaha so funny about the "no dropped calls" because I have thought that sooooo many times. Now I'm jealous of all you people who write Earth-based (or partially Earth-based) stories.

Aaaaaand Dylan has basically become a sex toy and that amuses me. Nice costume.

I'm glad I'm amusing you! I'm having way too much fun with Dylan's costume. He's definitely an in-universe Mr. Fanservice. Is it terrible if I kind of want a picture of him in his ridiculous outfit?

I remember someone making that joke about "no dropped calls" a long time ago and thought I would use it in my story, because it's the exact sort of thing Dylan would say, haha.
