reason #762 why i hate working at Office Depot:
today, i went into work at the Copy and Print Center. first thing, a customer calls and asks if we've received her email, which contained a document she needed to have printed. we have an account set up where people can send this stuff, so i log on to check it out. the password doesn't work, so i sit there (frantically? kind of) trying to log on again and again. no dice.
so i tell her i'll call her back, and give our (wonderfully mediocre) tech support line a call. after i sit on hold for no less than 20 minutes, i'm greeted by a snotty female voice on the other end.
"What's the problem sir?"
Well, I can't log onto the CPC email system.
"Did you not receive the memo that was sent out?"
Apparently not. What'd it say?
"You'll have to check your email. The memo has the new password."
Uh huh.
"So I suggest you do that. I can't just give out that info over the phone."
So the updated Copy and Print email password...was sent out through the Copy and Print email?
"Yes. It was sent out last night. It should be there."
So...how exactly do I log on to the system...to get the password?
"..."
Yeah.
This, ladies and gents, is the company I work for.
Also, Clerks 2 was much funnier than the first Clerks.
Quite nasty, I'll admit, but very funny.
