Had an interview with the grocery store Thursday morning. The lady who interviewed me gave a very short interview (I arrived fifteen minutes early and left ten minutes before the interview had been due to start). She seemed nice enough, although she didn't give me a chance to ask her questions (compensation, dress code, length of training period before I can work at the deli counter without looking unbearably ironic). Her nametag labeled her a "Perishable Leader". With a job title like that one can't feel very secure in one's position.
Thursday breakfast: English muffin
Thursday lunch: Eggdrop soup. Dessert: Ice cream.
Thursday dinner: Hummus on pita bread, half a veggie burger with herbed goat cheese and radish sprouts, shoestring fries, and a small taste each of someone's cake and someone else's bread pudding esque dessert.
