Sorry I haven't been updating. Lots going on in life...lots of life changes...it's still a little hectic, but things are slowly moving and at least one aspect of my life is settling down. Hope all is well and I'll try and update more frequently.

As 2009 comes to a close I can't help but reflect...

Overall I'd say 2009 was a pretty good year. I finished my first year of teaching and started my second. I read 43-44 books depending on whether or not I finish the third Gregor book tonight (my goal was 40). I joined a book club, which I've been loving. As New Years Eve/Day approaches it's time to make my annual New Years Resolutions. I have some in mind (which I'll share later), but am wondering what else I should include. What are some of your New Year Resolutions? I'm just wondering...

I just realized that I'm turning 26 in 24 days...yikes! In some ways I feel like my life is progressing, but in other ways I feel like it's not....I guess that's life eh?

So the past few days have been pretty intense and highly reflective with the noose incident on campus. In one class we had a conversation about it and it was very uncomfortable (but much needed). I went to bed around 1am and it's 6:15am now. I woke up at 6am, which was 30 minutes before my alarm. The sad thing is I feel like I haven't slept at all. I guess I'll just take a nap later in the day if I get tired. It still sucks...
