Was anyone else really disappointed with the Avatar extras? Granted, I didn't get to watch most of season 2, and only saw the last half of season 3, but I felt like they sucked. The first season seemed to be filled more with facts and interesting tidbits, while the next two seemed rather useless. I thought a lot of it was recapping and telling us things we already knew or could figure out on our own. Some of it was at least funny, but most of it was just annoying.
Now, they said originally that they were only going to do the first season, right? (Or am I making crap up?) If that's true, maybe it's because they only did the last two seasons because we wanted them so badly, and thus didn't really care about them as much, that they sucked. That's a pretty crap excuse, but it's the only thing I can think of.
Because really, why waste your time even doing them if they're not worth it? And I definitely didn't think they were.
The only good thing to come out of this is that I've been rewatching a lot of episodes and am kind of getting obsessed again. And I've been making icons of Zuko and Azula's agni kai pretty much nonstop since. And listening to the MUSIC. Which is so good; they need to release a soundtrack ASAP.
