Still hurtin
Nothing new here. Still in lots of pain from the surgery but the doctor says it looks like it is healing well.
How come the doctors never tell you the real story? I learned this week that I have to wear this post-op shoe thingie for the next 3 weeks and that I have to come back every week so they can take out a few stitches at a time... huh? No mention was ever made of this. I asked specifically about how long I would be laid up and he just said no walking for 5 day afterwards. Doctors and especially surgeons need some of these procedures executed on them.
My cane is still in use. I'm okay in the morning but by lunchtime I'm in so much pain I need it to help me get around. I learned you can do handy things with it so small woo.
