Friday Couldn't Come Soon Enough!
Today was significantly better than yesterday; especially in the fact that I didn’t cry at all today. Work was uneventful and boring like usual. I think Fridays seem worse just because it’s Friday, and Friday tends to be a slower day e-mail wise so less emails to answer. I’m just glad that the weather wasn’t great, because then it would have just been torture lol.
After work I went to my parents house and hung out there while Josh as at our house working on the boat, again. No point in going home and having to deal with the dogs and Bella by myself. Yesterday Josh helped my parents install a new faucet in the kitchen, but I guess that something didn’t totally get fixed with the pipes beneath the sink so Josh went to Home Depot and bought some sort of kit thing. He came over and I guess just ended up needing one part out of the whole kit so apparently it was an easy fix. I figure it’s the least we can do to help them with it, since they are my daycare for free, and buy Bella all kinds of things. They ended up paying Josh back for the kit anyways I think.
So earlier, after I got off work, Josh said that Jeremy wanted to have a BBQ tomorrow so I said sure why not. When we get home Josh decides to inform me that the BBQ is going to be HERE. I love that he wanted until we got home to say something, and that we wasted time just hanging around at my parents house when we could have been cleaning. Luckily Bella took a nap; unfortunately it was while I was holding her, so I just held her and let her sleep while Josh mowed the backyard and cleaned up in the kitchen. After I woke her up I worked on cleaning up, but Bella needed a bath because she kept playing in the dirt piles we were sweeping up.
So bath, jammies, bottle then bed for Bella. After that we finished cleaning up for the most part, and I finally got to sit down at around 9:15 or so. If I had known that the BBQ was going to be here, I wouldn’t have said yes quite so easily I don’t think. So tomorrow we are heading out to the farms to I guess go buy some food stuffs, and then back here for the BBQ. I hope people don’t stay long, because I am kind of in the mood for just sitting around and not doing anything. I dislike hosting for the most part anyways, and the cleanup always sucks.
Anyways I am off to bed. Oh! Also, I just sent one of my LJ friends some money for a box full of books so I’m excited for that! ;)
