A collection of stuff
Just finished a very good book called Child of Fire. It is the first work of an author named Harry Connolly, and I'm glad to see that he's already slated for the next book. Most Beloved compares the quality of the writing to Jim Butcher's works, and I can't say he's wrong.
In other news: Arrgh. Lent starts this week, and I have not determined yet what I'm willing to do daily/abstain from/observe for several weeks. Life's been a tad stressful recently, and I'm not looking forward to adding... at the same time, we'd never get anything done if we put it off until life calms down.
It never slows down. It never stops. But hey - it's good to be alive.
