Star Trek Into Darkness
Saw Star Trek Into Darkness tonight and was remarkably unimpressed to be honest. You knew what was going to happen, nothing was unexpected and every cliche possible appeared to have been unearthed and thrown into the pot. I laughed a couple of times, usually at Scotty, held my breath a few times in the fight scenes and sighed more times than I can count. Either I'm becoming something of a cynical old bat or plots are becoming things of the past while whizz, bang fights and explosions have taken their place. Even Benedict Cumberbatch couldn't save it, mind you his acting was pretty cliched as well...
