Good Day
Today at work was pretty busy, at least in the morning. Then towards lunchtime, there were a couple patients I had to give some shots to, an 11 year old and a 13 year old. I must have made an extremely good impression on them, because they loved how fast I gave them their shots, and they were praising me all the way out from the exam room. A few minutes later my boss comes to me and asks me, "Were you with the mom and the two girls?" So I said yes, thinking uh oh, what's wrong, and she proceeds to tell me that, according to the mom and the her daughters, that I was "hands-down, the nicest and most incredibly awesome nurse they have ever encountered in that office."
It's SO nice to hear those things from people, because it's not often that you do. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. :)

Firsts
1. First kiss: 12 or 13 years old, visiting my mom's good friend, hanging out with her son in the hotel hallway.
2. First true Love: I don't even count someone from my past, since that relationship was so flawed and abnormal to begin with. He doesn't deserve that kind of recognition. I prefer to think of Sam as my first true love. =)
3. First heartbreak: Absolutely first EVER? I wouldn't say heartbreak though, more like just hurtful. Catching a guy I was dating and very interested in at the time with a chick in her dorm.
4. First car: 1996 Volvo 850. The only car I ever had that had leather seats and a sunroof :(
5. First pet: A black and white cat named Kitty.
6. First computer: Apple IIC (same one as erikamarie, how funny)
7. First concert: It was either The Everly Brothers or Roy Orbison with my parents.
8. First alcoholic beverage: Miller Lite
9. First time you stayed out all night: Sometime during my junior year in high school, can't remember when exactly.
10. First best friend: That would be Angela. :D
11. First job: Luxury Linens at Burdines.
12. First school: Palma Ceia Methodist for nursery school.
13. First movie you watched in a theater: The only one I can recall is seeing Labyrinth with mom.
14. First thing you really saved up money for: I can't remember for the life of me.
15. First 'time': 17
16. First long term relationship: Seriously, do I HAVE to count that jerk? I don't want to.
17. First place you went after high school graduation: Germany with my parents
18. First real job: I guess that would be when I started in Pediatrics in 2005.
