I was unfortunately not up to going out yesterday, but today went to the Wastelands Steampunk con and it was heaps of fun. Very low key, and I get the feeling there were more costumes yesterday (though some of the ones today were still nice) but still great ( Read more... )

I was suddenly inspired to make this icon based on my Swancon costume. The phrase "with an axe" rings a bell but I can't figure out where from EDIT: stolen from velithya, see comments.

Also, Brumby's "Maple pecan twist" is the nicest pastry ever invented.
