So there's this fellow who lives across the street from us and on any given day he between 3 and 7 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supremes parked in his driveway and on the street in various stages of natural and man-made decay. Every couple of days a towtruck either takes one away or brings a new one. He spends his days dismantling and reassembling them I assume in pursuit of creating the ultimate 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, the supreme Supreme if you will. It has occurred to me that it could be some sort of low-rent chopshop, but the guy is like 16 and lives with his parents.
The catalyst for this entry is the fact that he listens to the hiphop station (the only one in Hawaii), he's only been out for two hours this morning and already I've heard the same song three times. Does hiphop really have so little to offer that a forty minute loop can encompass it all? I might not have noticed if the song itself weren't so damn repetitive. I picked it out on my guitar in case anyone is curious and has an instrument. F#,F#,A,G#,G#, then up one octave to A,A,C,B,B. Then repeat ad nauseum. Has anyone heard it?
Also they have a little terrier that barks all night long, every night. Last night, in an ingenious attempt to quell the barking, they gave it a squeak toy to chew on. Yeah.

Also, I just found out Rob Zombie is making two new films, a prequel/remake of Halloween, and an animated film about a Mexican masked wrestler named El Superbeasto. Voice actors include Danny Trejo, Paul Giamatti, and Sheri Moon Zombie. Just FYI
