Asleep again.

And not in the good way, either, it seemed. As if Leviathan didn't have enough to worry about already with the situation the way it was going. Harpuia didn't make any sense when he was awake, so it still felt as if she was at square one in this whole ordeal.

So, with not much to do other than wait for him to wake again, Leviathan paces their @home room restlessly, mulling over whatever she could again and again. She wished the damn place had a maintenance pool, but noooo. And the Mac Anu water... she didn't even want to think about that. The stress only served to cloud her mind further.

And this room-- so stifling. On the one hand, she didn't want to leave, in case Harpuia were to wake again-- on the other, the four walls around her were driving her mad. Four walls, four beds-- one never used, and slowly filling up with plush dolls-- another, with its occupant tossing about every so often-- a third that looked considerably slept in though the owner seemingly hadn't been around in days and a fourth, recently made, and barely disturbed. Leviathan hadn't the time nor mood for sleep these days.

The walls may have been boxing her in -- but what about the door? Especially as that door has apparently decided it wanted to open of its own accord.

Or perhaps the coal-haired figure on the other side has something to do with it?

"You still pace at the same tempo. I can hear you outside."

There was a slight clatter from the girl's heels as she stopped abruptly, shaken from her pacing by that familiar voice once more. Leviathan turned towards the door; it was still a shock to see someone who had been, effectively, long dead to her, standing there as good as new. ...Well, as 'good as new' one could be when forced into a different sort of biology altogether.

How very strange this place was.

"Phantom...! Jeez, you can't ever greet someone like a normal person, can you?"

It may have been a tiny~ smile that flickered in Phantom's expression for just a moment; or maybe it was only a shadow. It was hard to tell, sometimes.

The lifted brow, on the other hand, was plain to see.

"I am acting perfectly normally."

A pause, as he flicks a quick glance around the room --

"Status report, if you would?"

Leviathan frowned in response, forcing back a pout. Well, she supposed it could have been worse. He could have been Fefnir.

"He'd woken up recently, but I couldn't get anything out of him that made sense." Pacing a few more steps. "He kept asking where everyone else was, though-- you and Fefnir-- but Fefnir hasn't been to this place, as far as I can tell. He must've been disoriented after sleeping so long."

She shook her head. "Afraid you've just missed talking to him, though. He's back to sleep again."

"Perhaps he happens to be dreaming of our sibling, and cannot distinguish the dream from his waking hours."

"Given he sleeps so deeply, it would be entirely reasonable."

Slipping inside the room now, Phantom leans against a bare patch of wall and shrugs.

"We watch. We gather what information we may, and we wait. There is little else that can be done -- and you do him no favours by wasting energy on fretting."

She bit her lip, turning her eyes to the floor. Phantom was absolutely right-- as he usually was, Leviathan recalled.

But...

It was just so frustrating to have to wait, to be unable to do anything.

"...Right."

She leaned against one of the bedposts, pulling a restless hand through her hair. Best to calm down for now... ugh, this shouldn't be so difficult.

Phantom's next comment was almost softer. More quiet, certainly.

"Worry, yes. Make no doubt on that subject."

"But you cannot help him by pacing and fretting."

"I know that."

There was stubbornness in her voice, but it was only out of habit. Lips pursed together tightly, Leviathan willed herself to calm down... though it wasn't clear if willing really did the trick or not.

Phantom observed Leviathan's honest efforts for a long moment, head tilting slightly as the moments ticked by.

There was a simple enough suggestion; for the burning off of nervous energy, at the least.

"If you wish to investigate further -- there may be news -- I will watch over him."
