SUMMARY | Many of the players in The World seem to be dropping into a deep sleep you're unable to wake them from. Those of you left awake are also left wondering just what's happening to your friends and comrades. What could be affecting so many people?
LOG | It starts out small; maybe your partner is complaining about feeling light headed or are a bit harder to wake up in the morning and there are people out in the streets who look like they didn't get a decent night's sleep. But several of the NPCs always appear sleepy, so you brush it off as nothing. After all, the sight of some people taking naps around town isn't all that unusual...
Until you notice that there are quite a few more people than there should be sleeping around Mac Anu. Even the NPCs are picking up on the abnormality and the town is quickly filled with whispers, but none of them seem sure about what to do. They weren't doctors, just shop keepers and residents of the Eternal City...
One thing the NPCs were good at, though, was spreading rumors.
Sure enough, there are whispers (concerned ones) flitting through town about 'that incident' and about the unconscious players. Some of them have NPCs flitting around them, poking them in an effort to get them to wake up to no avail. They're all over the place, in the players' usual haunts but one thing remains the same; all of the sleeping players cannot be woken up...
