And again, the GMs are still nowhere to be found.

"Just what is happening?" Fayt wondered aloud, as he typed up another flashmail to one of the GMs. Because if they had no answer to this mystery, then who would?
Or maybe he was just looking in all the wrong places. He could always form a party to go and see if there was any information to be gained from the fields...

Suddenly, a voice from behind! ...And a rather chilling one, at that.
But the awkward middle-schooler had been watching people pull out their Relics and typing frantic messages for a couple of days now, to no avail. May as well get this guy to quit while he was ahead... hmm, and that typing style seemed very familiar, somehow. Which meant that he was close enough to read it. Just how long had Kageno been standing there, anyway...?

"Whoa-!" he spun around, Relic still in hand because he had grown used to having to hold onto his weapon during... Well, during any sort of distraction in battle. It was a skill that was very handy here in The World if his recent encounters with other players were any indication.
"Well, if they are suppose to be GMs, they should be responding." Fayt replied, still slightly off due to the surprise and the new confusion in regards to Kageno's appearance. Hair over their eyes? Was looking like someone out of a psychological-horror the new fad?
He'd been away from Earth too long.

If Fayt's surprise had made Kageno uncomfortable, it certainly didn't show. He stood rather stiffly in front of the blue-haired boy, eyelessly staring back at him with a grim expression.
"They haven't been responding to anyone," Kageno responded, very simply. "Everyone's been trying to reach them for days, but it's as if they disappeared..." the cleric trailed off a bit uncomfortably. He didn't like being the bearer of bad news-- not that he was often the bearer of any news to begin with-- but at this point, any information could be considered as useful, couldn't it?

The GMs weren't responding? How irresponsible could they be? His grip on the Relic tightens; the authority couldn't have just abandoned them! Then again, his own world was suppose to have been deleted. Who knows if the same thing would occur here?
... Fayt hoped the same thing wouldn't happen here.
"There must be something we can do for them. Or something we can do about this situation," he said in frustration.

And maybe, just maybe... they needed help? From the players?
It was true that everything was a lot easier with the right teamwork, so maybe...
"...Got to be..." Kageno murmured softly. "...But it's hard to know where to start..."

"We start where we can... At least, that's the only thing we can do. Would you mind helping me out again?" Here, he stopped to smile a bit sheepishly. After all, while Fayt wanted to help everyone, one person in particular stood out in the crowd.
"Even if I don't know someone well, I can't just bring myself to just leave them. Y'know?"

It had been a long time since he'd felt like that.
"What would you like me to do...?"

"Maybe if we asked a few of the townspeople, they might have some information for us. If this is suppose to be some quest that the GMs set up then this really sucks."
It was a lame finish, but even if he'd been through the philosophical destruction of his own world... Well, something like this was trying all the same. It wouldn't be so bad if one of his friends was here. Cliff, Nel, Mirage, anyone just so he could have a second opinion or... something. Was he just homesick?
"Let's go together. That way, if there really is something we need to do, the two of us don't have to run across town to find each other."
