SUMMARY | There's someone (or something) out there that's pulling pranks on people with your face! Track them down and beat them up to show them who's boss!
LOG | Your day begins the same as it always does; Mac Anu is called 'The Eternal City' by all for a reason! After going through your morning ritual you head out for a day in town. Maybe you're just wandering around, enjoying the down time you don't normally get, maybe you're planning on how you're going to finish that dungeon field you stumbled upon the other day. It doesn't really matter because upon looking around you'll notice that the NPCs seem to be whispering about something...
And from the sounds of it, they might just be talking about you.
"Good gracious," says one, "I never would have pinned him to be such a trouble maker. :("
"It's a shame how they've all turned out these days," murmurs another.
Confused? Asking any one of the gossiping or complaining NPCs will net you any number of incorrect accusations ranging from theft to bodily threats- Oh? What do you mean you haven't done any of that? But, the NPCs claim, they saw you do those things with their own two eyes!
Pressing for further clarification will trigger a particular sight; another you will appear! It's hiding just out of sight of the NPCs but you can see it clear as day. Could that be the culprit behind all these unhappy NPCs? The only way to find out is to chase down and catch that faker! A brief chase around Mac Anu will lead you to 3 keywords that have been spray painted onto the walls - oh dear, looks like the NPCs are blaming you for the vandalism too - where the event will take place proper.
Catch/conquer yourself at Δ Dancing Dusk's Shadow and return to town with the Key Item 'Own King' and a weapon for your troubles. Nothing says you're secure with yourself like conquering your own shadow!
