LOG | Whether fortunately or unfortunately, Kain didn't seem to notice the duck eyepatch Keane had slipped on him for the event, while he scoffed at the other running around the new town in a ridiculous duck hat. He thought he was fully exempt from the stupidity, only to be proven quite wrong. It was his own fault for never checking a mirror, really, especially after a nap that left his hair askew. The silver-haired boy ran his fingers through it and left without a glance, which could've saved him from his fate this day.
Ever the familiar face, Kain was in a chair balanced precariously on its back two legs, the front man at the Quest Kiosk to accept any who participated in the opening event. His feet were propped up on the desk, dirty soles greeting those who approached. Although he was a good deal more approachable lately, due to his lack of decent sleep leaving him without the energy to snark back. Straightforward, to the point, helpful. Had aliens existed in the world, the probability he'd been beamed up and replaced would be high.
But for now, he was armed with a stack of messily-handwritten checklists for the items to be gathered separated into three piles for different takers. The event was a cakewalk, but only because the system was still shaky after that strange double-server problem and they were still working out kinks and bugs leftover. Best to stick to simplicity and manual labor, for now.
