1). if your apartment was burning, what three things would you rescue first?
In order of importance: First, my roommate, Jo. I have known her since we were 13 and I would miss her horribly if she burnt to a
cinder. Second, as many books as I could carry. Third, as many records as I could carry, on top of all the books.
2). what's the last lie you told?
Hmmm...I'm not sure. If I said I never told lies, then that would be the last lie I had told. Probably, "No, really, I'm fine".
3). what's your biggest pet peeve?
I have two major pet peeves in life: People who make kids think they're stupid is one. Deprogramming that brainwashing is one of
the hardest things about being a teacher. Number two is people who are mean to library books. I am so annoyed whenever books
come back in all dog-eared and written in. They aren't your books, people! Other people want to use them, too!
4). do you live more in the past, present, or future?
I think I live a lot in the future. I'm always concerned about being in a stable place and making sure that stability continues. I try to stay
in the present as much as I can though. I think that's why I keep so busy. I makes me pay attention to the now.
5). do you think the world would be a better place if everyone believed in God?
This may be a surprising answer to those who know me, but I don't necessarily think the world would be a better place if everyone
believed in God. There are lots of people in the world who believe that faith in God gives them license to do horrible things to people
who don't believe or don't believe the right way. I think the world would be a better place if everyone believed that God just wanted
them to be good to each other.
