Weirdo with a Cold
I hate being sick. At least it's just a bad cold, and not the stomach bug. People have been avoiding me like the plague. *laughs*
Whenever I'm sick, I pick at my gums. Strange, isn't it? According to my mother, I had acquired some sort of gum disease when I was a baby (that must have made teething hell). I don't remember it since it was cured with antibiotics long ago, my gums have always been fine, and my teeth are just great, but whenever I'm sick I have a pesky habit of picking at my gums until they bleed. And even though it hurts to touch those areas, I continue to do it. It's a very hard habit to break. My saving grace is knowing that any part of the gum I manage to pick off won't grow back, so when I feel better I stop because of that.
Also, when I'm sick, I write pr0n. Being sick is not at all a turn-on and husband usually receives Ebil Glare of D00m if he tries anything when I'm feeling like crap. Despite this, though, all I can write when I'm sick is smut. Why is that? Working on some PWP blood elf smut because, dammit, they're hawt. Het, though. Usually that race encourages yaoi or yuri in WoW smut writers. I, however, am thinking outside the box!! *snickers over irony of this* Sorry :P I'm hoping to toss it up on my writing journal soon.
My apologies to shvetufae for not being online like I said I would. I've been sleeping a lot. I'm hoping to kick this damn cold. *sigh*
So now, I leave you all with a nifty little WoW music vid, a machinima to be exact. (Machinimas are fan-made videos using video game graphics to make movies that have very little to do with the actual video game. They're kewl :) ) This particular vid won first place in a music video contest. It's very shounen-esque, themed around friendship being the most cherished aspect of online gaming. (Sounds reeaaaally corny, doesn't it? :P )
