Net's Back!
I'VE GOT INTERNET BACK!!!! WOO-HOO!!!!
Since we basically live on someone's driveway, we are at the mercy of the going-ons with the utilities with that place. SIL (sister in law) was supposed to use part of our rent money to keep up with phone and internet bill. Heheh, yeah right. So, when she and her fiance (now husband) abandoned their kids and abandoned their place and abandoned all responsibility (a story for another day, perhaps...my inlaws are batshit insane -_-), phone and internet got cut off. Well, Husband's parents are now living in the house and raising SIL's kids while they fight to gain custody of them. (Why we didn't get the house is a long and tedious story, but considering that SIL was 2 months behind on the mortgage payments, which she lied about as she does with everything else, and considering that husband's parents found mold all throughout the back side of the house, I am very grateful we still live in non-moldy, fully paid-for motor home ^^). Phone and internet were hooked up at the place again yesterday. Yaaaaaay!!! And because we barely use the phone and they barely use the internet, they are to cover phone costs and we are to cover net costs. Kewl.
I went on a YouTube spree with Tyler when I got home. Yay, YouTube! And, of course, WoW beckoned to be played.
Canada Day was on Sunday, so I got Monday off. HAPPY BELATED CANADA DAY ALL YOU CANUCKS ON TEH FLIST!!!! For the first time in years, I'm feeling very excited about the 4th of July, because for the first time in years I'll be in contact with a very large group of fellow Americans at once to celebrate it. (for those new to the flist, I'm an American living in Canada for almost 5 years now) Sadly, it's through WoW, but it's still interacting with real people (even though these real people will be the ones too dorky to spend the 4th outside with friends and family *laughs*) so yeah, I'll be going nutso on there tonight :) Gawd, I miss Home -_- Lately I've been longing for everything Stateside, especially my parents and brother. This type of depression really sucks.
Bosses are gone on a month-long cruise. Lucky them. They hired one of the manager's daughters to help out around the office over the summer. Trouble is, I'm having a hard time finding things for her to do, and it's stressing me out like you wouldn't believe. I'm pretty miffed at the bosses right now over this. As if it's not going to be stressful enough as it is already with them gone, but I have some typical teenager (and she acts like one, too *sigh*) to worry about. Meh. But what am I saying? Only a few years ago, I was a typical teenager! Geez, I'm already turning into a cranky old fart -_-
