Guillermo del Toro
..Is really freaking cool.
Granted, I haven't seen Pan's Labyrinth OR Hellboy (yet), but trust me, I plan on seeing both. However I have read a lot about him, seen trailers, and seen clips. MAN, this guy has an amazing imagination, even if a lot of it is rather dark and creepy. I mean, have you seen Paleman in Labyrinth?:
Creepy picture warning. As Miss Moore would say, I hope you've all had nannies or babysitters that told you scary stories when you were a kiddie. (I'm too nice of a babysitter to do such a terrible thing. I told Dr. Seuss stories instead) Don't wanna freak anyone out if you don't like people with no real faces and eyes in their hands...
Maybe not that creepy. But pretty darn impressive.
Then of course there's Nuada and Nuala from Hellboy II:
(The guy that plays Nuada, Luke Goss, I think would make an excellent Poppy Warrior/Philon when they finally come around to doing A Great and Terrible Beauty. But that's just me. Is it weird if I find this character oddly attractive??......)
Plus, del Toro is directing The Hobbit. I LOVE Lord of the Rings, and with Peter Jackson on hand as producer I think he'll do muy excellento.
Otherwise, what else do I blog about? I ate Chex Mix today. Hoorah! Mmmm...I should probably have gone to the gym with my dad because I'd like to lose weight (I'm 140 pounds, which for my height of 5'6 I guess is healthy, but I don't like it), but I'm just too dang lazy to bother.
Now I'm going to finish figuring out Livejournal. Auf Wiedersehen!
