But seriously, it is 6:09AM, and I've been up all night trying to figure out why DMO runs so badly on my computer (aside from it being 5 years old) and then trying to fix it. My search led me to the sound card and its driver - because I have a vague memory of once disabling the sound card to play a game better in the past - I can't for the life of me remember what game it was. Then, for the hell of it, I updated the graphic driver too. While running a defrag. I'm not even a computer whiz, so I feel pretty good right now. In addition to that, the graphics look and the sound effects feel like new again. I managed to find a solution to everything. And the DMO play quality? Well, it still could be better, but for this veteran laptop, it's about as good as it's gonna get.
