Got an email from the bank today.

UNCONDITIONAL APPROVAL FOR THE LAND LOAN! :D :D :D

Happy Alex is Happy. Means there's one less thing I have to stress about, it had to be approved by Sept 3rd so I have plenty of time. Still no idea when the land is actually released (Sept/Oct sometime) but it is nice to have it completely sorted. We just have to ( Read more... )

Well, things are moving along on the house front! Had a meeting with the bank today, got one tomorrow with the builders and one on Saturday with the land developers, JOY.

I sort of love the Government right now. They're doing a first home owner's grant where you get $20,000 for building a new home as long as the contract is signed before June 30, ( Read more... )

In the past two days I have had an email from the builder's sales consultant with a copy of the quotation, which I still have to go through and read, as well as reply to her query; I have had calls from and emails from the land sales consultant to work out how much ( Read more... )

Work

Is still going okay.  Still the only 'official' supervisor, but there's 2 training and I'm hoping that they'll be promoted.  I'm still doing the bulk of the supervisor work, but it's not seeming as much anymore, thank goodness.  Rumour is we have appraisals coming up ( Read more... )
