(no subject)
Today Scotty and I headed to Rotherhithe for a wander about in the sunshine and enjoy a drink at a riverside pub. We tried out the Spice Inn and the Mayflower. It was nice to get out of the flat for a few hours and see a part of London we don't see very often.
This Facebook thing is enlightening. I joined less than a month ago, and I have found people on there that I have not thought about in the 10 years since I left high school. Turns out that a girl I went to high school with, on the other side of the world from where I am now, is living less than a kilometre from me in London. How weird! We will catch up for a drink sometime this week or next which will be great. There are plenty of others on my friends list who are in London, but I have no desire to hook up with them! I guess i just wish them well, it's nice to know they are happy but beyond that I just don't care. I am sure there are many people out there who feel the same about yours truly!
I felt quite content today. Calm and happy. I am sure all of that will change when it gets closer to my deadline! Argh! I have to write 4000 on social inclusion in museums due on the 7th July. I can do it. It's just that it's been ages since I have written a proper academic essay. :-( Hopefully hey will take this into account??
