Snake Creeps Down
So I have been doing Tai Chi Chuan for just over a year now. I have gotten up to posture number 73 out of 108 - though of course all my postures and transitions could be improved and practiced more.
The second half of the 108 Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan is mostly a repeat of the first half done slightly differently so is supposed to be easier to learn. So for example after the end of the first half (54 Cross Hands) the next few moves are essentially things I have done before - just in different orders.

I have highlighted the new postures above - the others being mostly already learnt. It is of course getting from one to the other that is hard.
The English names for these postures are not standardised between schools.
"Hand Plays P'i P'a" is "Play Guitar" though god knows how you actually play a guitar that way. ( Here is a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRxS8ScXsvw Looking at this guy it is more like I imagine a lyre would be played... Also and the original instrument)
I most recently tried to learn "Snake Creeps Down" - number 73, but the videos I can find of it being done in Yang style are quite different to Wu Style so this may not help very much....
