today was fun. other than two or three hours after work when i had what could probably be the most intense anxiety attack i think i've ever had. i need to look into a therapist asap. i think it's that unmentionable hereditary problem that my mom's side of the family seems to pass down to each generation.
unlike them at least i can admit to myself that i'm seeing a distorted version of reality. and that's what gets me through it i suppose.
i remember waking up too quick again this morning. that "what the fuck is going on" jump out of slumber reaction.
there was nothing going on. i can't remember what i was dreaming. strange.
mcgowan's headed back up in a week. landon as well.
hanna and i got together for what we planned to be a brief lunch and ended up sitting at little cesars just short of three hours discussing the current state of politics ... metaphorically predicting the fall of the U.S.A as a world power with the fall of rome ... discussing the up and coming political race ...
on that note ... i plead to the youth of America... do NOT base your vote on what the candidate "promises" you. do not go to their page and see what they have to say for themselves. find where the senate posts what senator voted for what bill. and the same with the house.
see if your candidate puts his money where his mouth is.
i urge you ALL to be cautious when looking at Barack Obama. yes ... he's promising great things ... great things that i think he'll never deliver.
don't vote based on what the media tells you. don't base your vote on what bullshit(bullshit as in drug use in college or any mistake they made as an adolescent ... if we based our vote this way NOT one SOUL on earth would be "eligible") is in the candidate's past. don't base your vote on what the candidate says about himself. don't vote for a republican candidate just because you're a republican. and don't vote for a democrat solely because you're a democrat. don't let your friends or your parents influence your vote.
base your vote on the issues. will that candidate vote the same way you would.
this isn't the high school council election. this is the future of a dying nation. we need a change ... an educated change.
and remember if you don't vote in this election (if you're 18+ anyway) you have NO right to bitch about the outcome. go out. make a difference.
and this time ... i know it's a bit hypocritical of me to say .... could we please have a leader who's speeches make grammatical sense?
