So, I've been working on this insanely amazing conference for the past two weeks: Futures of Entertainment.

Talked to Henry (one of my academic role models) this afternoon during lunch, and he complimented me on my writing.

Goal toward becoming a professor by age 27: one step closer.

I'm kind of excited about my job, even though I have no idea really what I'm officially doing, making it -- of course -- difficult to explain to Elena at lunch, entirely not convincing her that what I'm doing is worthwhile*. In my New Year's entry, I barely mentioned that I also wanted to write more in 2008.
