"Are you sure this will work?" Taeyeon asks, fidgeting with her hands in her lap.
"I can't guarantee it," Gwiboon admits, applying a light pink gloss to Taeyeon's lips. "There's a lot of things standing in the way."
Taeyeon sighs, dropping her head while Gwiboon looks for a headband. "But they're...they're not very big things," she finally mumbles, biting her lip. She's not sure who she's trying to convince-herself or Gwiboon.
Gwiboon sighs as well, coming back over and taking her time putting in the sparkly headband so that it's just right. "There's a four year difference," she starts, fingers carding through the younger girl's hair. "And while that's not much...at your age, it kind of is. Not to mention the fact that you live together, and well. You're kind of related," she finishes, frowning at Taeyeon in the mirror.
"'There are no boundaries, or limits when it comes to love,'" she quotes, trying hard not to cry. "He told me that."
Gwiboon smiles, a tinge of sadness making its way in. She reaches down to wrap her arms around Taeyeon's shoulders in a hug. "Then you should have nothing to worry about," she says softly, patting her shoulders. "So buck up and don't cry okay? Jinki will be here soon, and you don't want to ruin your makeup, right?"
Taeyeon shakes her head, sitting up straight and trying to smile. She touches a few strands of hair, watching her nails sparkle in the mirror, just like the headband. "I'm pretty, right eonni?"
Gwiboon nods, smiling back. "Really pretty."
