It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...already.
Evenin peoples. Yeah, I haven't posted for a couple weeks, but I could never find an apropriate time to do so. So the holiday season is officially upon us and well...I'm kinda in to the spirit but for some reason it hasn't totally hit me yet...maybe because it's come up so quickly. Either way, I'd be going totally aginst my charactet to feel this way for long. So, here's the down low on my recent happenings...
1. So about Legend of the Seeker. I friggn LOVE it!! Apparently it's based on a serise of books by Terry Goodkind. The episodes are getting better and better and I'm very impressed. Of course I couldn't resist writing fanfiction when inspiration landed on my doorstep. Basically I've written two stories so far and thinking about writing a third. If you haven't seen it, be sure to tune in!
2. I'm doing a theme for my room this Christmas. Mom and I went out today and bought the decorations nessasary. It's goona have a red and gold feel to it (by the way, even though I share a room with my brother, he doesn't argue about my need to decorate) and I'll be starting the annual tradition tomorrow after church.
3. Speaking of church, I'll bet they've got it decked out by now, with holly and trees and such. Not to mention we'll be singing holiday songs very soon. Next Friday we're having a Women's Rally, which happens to fall on my 5th anniversary as a Christian. Needless to say, there'll be a BIG entry about that.
4. I'm FINALLY finished with the Twilight series and saw the movie last friday. I was very pleased with it and look foward to seeing it again soon. Now I'm picking up a book I read a few years ago called 'eragon' to fuel my supernatural fix. I like dragons, and adventure, so this book fits me just fine. After 'Eragon', I'll continue with 'Eldest' and 'Brisingr', both of which I've never read before...this'll be exciting!
5. Since finding out something major on the show 'Ghost Whisperer', I've decided to watch the series from the begining since I never did before. Already I see it's one heck of a series, and it's no wonder I watched it back when it preceded 'Moonlight' on Friday nights.
6. I've started working on fanfids again. I dug up an old project of mine and started over. After that's finished, I'll work on the ones I've been inspired to do, but decided not to at the time.
So, as we enter the holiday season, Ipray you all are safe and happy and have enough to spread cheer to others. So, as they say in Eragon, may your swords stay sharp.
