After a long, long hiatus, I've found I rather miss LJ, and all you friends there. I don't know how active I'll be, but I hope to post more often, read your journals (if you still allow me as a friend!), and get to know you all again.
Our three cats continue to grow and flourish; Frances and Fenchurch even seem to be getting along. Sort of. Well, Fenchurch is having fun with Frances, but I don't know if Frances is having fun. :) Milo is HUGE, weighing in at probably 15-17 pounds of mostly muscle. He's a floppy, loveable, overlarge kitten.
David's spending more and more time up in San Francisco, trying to get his
location recording business to grow somewhat. Things are tough because he doesn't have a residence up there, but has to stay with his brother in San Francisco, who is still recovering from a bout of the same hemorrhagic stroke thing which crippled David. Fortunately, his brother appears to be on the road to a full recovery, which is wonderful!
I've once again started trying to blog about my work. Maybe the third time's the charm?
It's been a good summer, with two teaching assistantships to help me through financially as well as emotionally. I get so depressed with nothing to do, so the work was a really good idea. Not too much, not too little, and plenty of time for my own research and fun. Which, as I study anime, fortunately often overlap!
Anyway, nice to see you all again!
