OK, I don't like to just get on LJ to rant. I try to keep a level head, to not let things bother me too much. But this one thing in particular just FILLS ME WITH UMBRAGE, and I will tell you what it is: the song "My Humps" by the Black Eyed Peas. A sample of the lyrics:

The Black Eyed Peas consistently astonish me with their sheer stupidity. I really, really don't understand why they are signed to a record label, much less popular. They're SO MORONIC IT MAKES ME WEEP.

I'll make exceptions for dumb songs like "Don't Phunk With My Heart." Also nonsensical, but fun to dance to and silly. This song? I can't do it, because it is just...too far past the height of ridiculousness. It's my silent boycott of everything.
